Promoting Growth and Professionalism

As first year enrichment committee co-chairs, we have done our best to provide the first year dental students with adequate help adjusting to dental school and their newfound workload. At the beginning of every semester, we put together an introductory Lunch & Learn explaining what it means to be a member of ASDA and welcoming them into our chapter. We traditionally host a Loupes Q&A session involving upperclassmen to help first years decide what types of loupes to purchase prior to the vendor fair. This year students also received help from waxing tutors in preparation for upcoming waxing competencies at our Pizza and Premolars Party.
